Future Flex

Boost your confidence, unlock opportunities, and navigate life’s challenges with the right skills and support with the Future Flex Summer Programme for 14 – 17 years olds.

Across five-weeks (Thursdays 10:30am – 1pm) this summer,  well support you to:

✔ Explore your strengths, values, & aspirations
✔ Build the confidence to shape your future
✔ Learn how to stand up for yourself against bias, peer pressure, or tough situations
✔ Connect with mentors who’ve been where you are—and can guide you forward
✔ Grow your network with local leaders, corporate partners, and like-minded peers

✔ Celebrate your achievements at a special dinner and awards ceremony

You’ll be awarded a £50 Voucher of their choice for completing the programme, plus, you’ll get access to real tools to stay motivated, explore career paths, and even shape your community.

Mentorship opportunities

Support accessing training, employment, entrepreneurial and education opportunities

Access up to £2000 and the support to run a project, event or services for other young people in the area.

Sessions:

1. Boost Confidence & Open Doors – Shift your mindset, better understand the opportunities around you and build unshakable self-belief in your potential.

2. Break Down Barriers to Success – Gain the knowledge, connections, and tools to access and pursue the education, jobs, and business opportunities you want.

3. Build Skills for Life & Explore Careers – Understand how to you stay focused when life gets tough by developing your resilience, motivation, and real-world strategies—plus hands-on career exploration with role models who’ve been there.

4. Speak Up & Stand Your Ground – From institutional bias to peer pressure, get equipped with the confidence and tactics to advocate for yourself —and stay safe in high-pressure situations.

5. Mentors Who Get It – Connect with relatable mentors who offer honest advice, lived experience, and practical support—all in a space where you are heard and respected.

6. Celebration & Power Up Your Community – Celebrate your achievements, meet local leaders, and learn how you can make change for your community . This isn’t just a program—it’s a launchpad for future change-makers.

This programme is supported by Communities Priorities, Westminster City Council’s Global Majority Network and Corporate Partners and provides a safe, empowering space.

To get the most of the programme, participants should attend all sessions. If the participant cannot attend all sessions, please identify which session/s dates the participant cannot attend. Session dates: 31st July, 7th August , 14th August 21st August , 28th August, (Saturday) 6th September
