Queen’s Park Community Council is looking for volunteers to join its Planning Working Group.
The Group reviews applications for developments in Queen’s Park, including proposals to extend or alter a private house, checks them against QPCC agreed policies, and submits comments to the City Council which decides whether or not the work can take place. Officers are required to take these comments into account when deciding whether to allow a work to proceed.
It won’t take much time each week and most of the work can be done from the comfort of your own house.
