Shifaá Healing Hearts Counselling (SHHC) is dedicated to creating safe and compassionate spaces where people from all backgrounds can find healing and hope. SHHC offers counselling through an intercultural lens to support clients in exploring their well-being and relational challenges while respecting and honouring each individual’s unique experiences, cultures, and values, to help them navigate trauma, identity, and family dynamics with care and confidence.
“Shifaá”, meaning healing in Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Somali, Bengali, and many other languages, expresses SHHC’s commitment to nurturing well-being and fostering connection.
SHHC Services
- Provide a Safe space for healing: Create an environment where individuals feel safe, truly heard, understood, and supported. Our confidential and non-judgmental counselling services respect each person’s unique cultural identities and experiences, fostering healing through connection and understanding.
- Support Emotional Resilience: Equip individuals with tools and guidance to navigate stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges, helping to build strength and well-being in people’s daily lives. Our workshops and sessions focus on managing stress, enhancing resilience, and nurturing a sense of belonging.
- Culturally Sensitive Counselling: Offer individual counselling sessions that honour and integrate cultural, spiritual, and personal values, embracing each person’s unique identity and lived experiences. Ensure services are accessible by offering support in multiple languages.
- Reconnect with Self and Community: Empower individuals to rediscover their roots, values, and sense of belonging. Foster meaningful connections that nurture healthy hearts and minds.
SHCC is offering FREE one-to-one and group counselling session to residents in Queen’s Park Westminster and surrounding Wards, starting in February 2025.
