We continue to monitor and publish reports on Anti-social Behavioural and Violent Sexual Offences to help better inform the community about the prevalence of these social ills and to promote open dialogue between the community, QPCC and other statutory bodies and authorities so we can better prevent and deal with the effects of these issues in our community.

Overall, in Queen’s Park, there were 778 crimes (to August 2024), 17% lower than the 937 crimes over the same period in 2023. Below is the summary of all 14 reported crime categories.
Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)

ASB accounted for:
- 208 incidents in 2024 (to August), a reduction of 8% when compared to 227 over the same period last year.
- 27% of all crime categories reported. See the chart containing a list of all categories reported.
- 29 incidents between July and August 2024 – a decrease of 17% compared to reports over the previous month, 34% lower when compared to reports between August 2024 and August 2023.
Reported ASB incidents in August 2024 were 45% lower than the four-year average for the same period (2020 – 2023).
Violence and Sexual Offences (VSO)

VSO accounted for:
- 217 incidents in 2024 (to August), a reduction of 21% when compared to 273 over the same period last year.
- 28% of all crimes reported. See the chart containing a list of all categories reported.
- 32 incidents between July and August 2024 – an increase of 68% compared to reports over the previous month, 10% higher when compared to reports between August 2024 and August 2023.
Reports of Violent Sexual Offences were 13% higher in August 2024 than the four-year average for the same period (2020– 2023)
