Residents team up to clean up Chamberlayne Road

12 October 2015 - 12:30pm

Four local residents' associations have teamed up to petition the mayor, Transport for London and Brent council to clean up the air on Chamberlayne Road at the western edge of Queen's Park ward in Westminster. The residents of the neighbouring ward in Brent (confusingly also called Queen's Park) have commissioned their own checks on air pollution and found high levels of nitrogen dioxide (NO2). They want the diesel buses that use the routes replaced by clean, hybrid models by March next year.
