Queen’s Park in Bloom

16 May 2016 (All day)

This year the Community Council is delighted to be running Queen’s Park in Bloom again. We have recently found out that the heritage of this event dates back to the 1880s when the Queen’s Park Estate (and sister Shaftesbury Park Estate in Battersea) were designed by Robert Austin.

In its present guise the competition has been running since 2002 and for 2015. All entrants will be judged on colour and display.

Entry forms will be available from Beethoven Centre reception, online and and at Queen’s Park Library. Entry will be opening soon. Please remember that you can even enter your own garden and also nominate entries of friends, family and neighbours who may be shy of declaring their talents!

Judging will take place in June and prize-winners will be presented with their certificates at the Queen’s Park Festival in August.
