Grenfell Tower one year on: information for Queen's Park residents about the anniversary

13 June 2018 - 9:45pm

At a meeting on June 4, Queen's Park Community Council passed a motion expressing sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved and survivors of last year's terrible fire. A minute's silence will be held nationwide at midday on June 14, in memory of the 72 victims, while schools across London and the country will go Green for Grenfell on Friday.

On Thursday June 14, as has happened every month since the disaster, a silent walk will travel from Maxilla Hall Social Club (2 Maxilla Walk, W10) to Kensington Memorial Park (St Mark's Park), starting at 5.30pm. Queen's Park community councillors, volunteers and residents will be among the marchers. Please join us if you would like to.
