Queen's Park Community Council is delighted to announce the launch of Queen’s Park Neighbourhood Plan!
What is a Neighbourhood Plan?
A Neighbourhood Plan gives local people a role in making decisions about how they would like their area developed: the facilities they need, housing, high streets and workspaces, the environment, roads and transport. It also means that, if building is done in Queen’s Park, we can claim funds from a fund called The Community Infrastructure Levy, which can be used, as we choose, on improvements here in Queen's Park.
The Neighbourhood Plan is now ready for you to view, make comments and suggest changes. Your feedback will be gathered and responded to, and we will make changes to the plan if appropriate.
You can view a short version of the plan by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Hard copies are available from the Beethoven Centre, Queen’s Park Library and Avenues Youth Centre.
Please send your comments on the plan to gfitzhugh@queensparkcommunity council.gov.uk by 30 November or attend one of our two open meetings:
WEDNESDAY 1 November 1 – 4pm, Beethoven Centre, Third Avenue
MONDAY 13 November 6 – 8pm, Avenues Youth Club, Third Avenue
We look forward to your response!
